500 year Walk about Tour

It's been a while since i made an unplanned tour with in Cebu. Unplanned? Kasi most of the time yung mga plano nyo/natin ay laging na papako or lets just call it a "Drawing".Lol

Yes, I am currently living in Cebu for like 5 to 6 yrs ( dayuhan lang po ako dito 😀 ) and i had my first tour here which is an Educational Tour with my school ( and yes, dala dala ko ang pangalan ng school namin ) I do like history or geography. I always have that question in my mind if how and why those things happened in our country or society. So sa first time kung makatungtung ng Cebu ang natutunan ko lang sa Tour na yun ay if how Lapu-Lapu killed Magellan ( which is actually given na sa school since its part of the history subject, oh diba?😆 ) 

- alam nyo na, first time eh and besides wala naman exam after that. So okay lang.Lol 

Then as days and years passed by, if one of my colleagues or friends will come over here in Cebu so that is the time din na ma revisit ko mga spots dito.. 

Just recently a friend of mine invited me to a 500 year Walk about Tour ( since 1521 )

were about a total of 12 head counts with 1 Japanese and 1 white-American with a British accent 😅 

Well, honestly i was not paying much attention on that time however there's one thing that made me realize kung gaano ka historical ang bansa natin and if we are just paying attention and give importance kung ano ang nagawa nila...**Cries 😥

Of course naman, may natutunan din ako noh 😆 .. Fort San Pedro is a triangular wall - in shape that was used by the sinaunang tao ✌ under the command of Miguel López de Legazpi 

and the story begin 💪

Next Stop 👉  Compania Maritima  

Was once occupied by Shamrock Hotel during pre-war years and an International Port of Cebu 

 👉 Magellan's Cross 

The famous Magellan's Cross that is located at the back portion of Basilica del Santo Nino 

👉 Basilica del Santo Niño 

   Founded year 1565 and the oldest Roman Catholic Church in the country. It  is also known of its Child Jesus image Santo Niño that is celebrating Sinulog every 3rd Sunday of January.

        Just around the corner of GOMBURZA Colon Street ( Gomez, Burgos, Zamora )
