The City of Pines
My first and for sure never be the last...
In most cases unplanned trip is always be the best. As I felt the cool temp of Baguio I was like; -Ayoko nang umuwi, I just wanna stay here. Not for good but for long.Lol! Pero seryoso, Baguio is in deed a Summer Capital of the Philippines.. Has no amoy "tambutso" air.. Plastics/cans and cigarette butt(s) are kept.. Jeepney's, taxi cabs, private vehicles and commuters were well organized and disciplined..
I remembered one time when we left some pieces of my friend's SD cards ( one of the most important thing, kasi all the pictures we took were still there ) in a taxi, So we've tried to ask an assistant sa guard if he was able to familiarize the plate # of that taxi pero di' nya na pansin. So were like - "its okay, next time we need to do extra tingin-tingin with our things na and mas importanti ang memories and experience than pictures ( just to keep ourselves going and disregard the "katangahan"✌😇 ) but to our surprised si mamang taxi driver bumalik with the SD cards. Were like speechless and ang tanging word lang na lumabas sa mga bibig namin ay "Thank You" - Tama nga sila na yung mga taga Baguio are so mababait and honest ❤
Tara 🏃- Lemme show you what i got 😊
Mines View Park - The first time kung tumongtong dyan sa kinatatayuan kong yan ay my legs were shaking ( alam nyo na, fear of heights. Kaya nga di ako tumangkad eh!Lol ) Its a breathtaking view yung literal na may lumalabas na usok sa bibig mo pag humihinga ka kasi nga ang lamig 😆 last na sorry✌😝 pero seryoso the park is located in the outskirts of Baguio and offers a wide and clear view of Benguet. Dito palang parang ayoko ng umuwi ( first timer feels 😂😂😂 )

Stobosa Hillside Homes Artwork - They said na ito daw yung Santorini de Baguio ( gawa-gawa ko lang ) pero Santorini nga daw kaso iba-iba lang ang kulay 😂 First impression ko nga ay house of cotton candy, nadala kasi sa kulay eh!Lol - Its a cluster of colorful houses inspired by the Favela Paintings of Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
St.Patrick Village - Not a newest but one of the new Baguio's hidden secret. Its a cozy home style Baguio villa that will definitely fit for stay-cation and getaway. Instagrammable din guys, tamang angle lang okay na okay na for photo/phone-nography 😂 -The best location that brings you closer to Mines View and Camp John Hay
Diplomat Hotel - Okay, ito na yung the "horror" part of Baguio ( sabi nila, Kasi for me to feel and to see is to believe, basta hindi lang mansapak at hindi manakot oks lang -sabay tindig balahibo and pikit mata 😱😂 ) Pero the experience was so great, it is such an honor to myself ( no joke ) na naka pasok ako sa oldest diplomat hotel na once became a monastery and now its abandoned and ruin ( on going for rehabilitation under city government )
Mount Costa - Located outside the not so hustle & bustle of central Baguio along Pico-Lamtang Road. Just check 👉 https://www.mountcosta.com/ --One of Baguio's hidden secret. For those who love flowers and gardens ( like me- not most of the time ) this will surely fit you 🌷
Strawberry Farm - Located in La Trinidad outskirt of Baguio City. One of the reason why i went dito, Oo dito sa Baguio.LoL! -is to taste the strawberry with salt ( to taste kasi daw maasim 😋😅 ) and you can't say na naka punta kana in Baguio with out feasting on freshly pick strawberries, drinking strawberry wine and even eating strawberry ice cream!- NummNummm 😋
Baguio Craft Brewery - Yung before your entire day trip will end it will always like looking a place to chill. So pag sinabing chill? of course the first thing that will come up in our mind is to drink. Most likely sa mga not so drinker like me ( Yes, i am allergic to any hard liquor - recent ko lang na find out 😂 ) will end up with a Beer. - Beer na ang pang patunaw ng kinain mo ngayon, hindi na tea or softdrinks/soda - No joke, Proven and tested by me 😅😅😅

The Manor - It is located in Camp John Hay ( one of the famous road and the comfort zone of everyone) Its perfect for a family or a barkada getaway, pero sa mga mag so-solo pwedi nadin but you might need a photographer since all area has an awesome scenery to capture 📷 😆

Korean Palace - The most awaited part of the trip!Chibugan na 😋 This Korean restau offers Eat all you can/All you can eat ( depindi sa taste mo, pero if you are really a korean food lover? swear pati sauce ubos mo)Lol!. Located just around the corner of Camp John Hay and near St.Patrick Village.
The Baguio Market - The Souvenir Shop 😇 As a tourist ( Local/Foreign) we are used to bring a bacon ( gutom na'ko sorry ✌😂 ) a pasalubong in everywhere we go, though we are not oblige to kasi nga mabigat na sa bulsa dagdag bigat pa sa dala.Lol! But it is also a proud to yourself cause despite of everything naka punta kapadin sa lugar na one of your and other's bucket list.. Kung baga you are introducing the place by bringing their delicacies or the things that what that place be proud of! Oh diba? di ko din alam pinagsasabi ko pero yun na yun. -- Hungryyyy is real 😏😁
This is the first market I've ever been na malinis and well organized. All handcrafts ( from clothes to even furniture and all pangkabuhayan showcase are there ) with bagsak presyo and has NO dollar price $$$🙌 So before you guys will going down make sure to drop by cause all you need is here - Oo dito lang talaga makikita 😆
Lastly... been dreaming that someday i'll be able to experience the Panagbenga Festival that will held every February ( grand festival held during 3rd week of the month ) and grand opening will be February 1 or at least first week of the month... and yes, Feb 1. I am still in Baguio, Chance na sana however, yung lola nyo tanghaling tapat na gumising so ito nalang naabutan ko, Itoo nalaaanggg 😭 Pero okay nadin at least they are still bloom, fresh and hmmmm bangoooo 😍🌷( crazy me i know, sorry na ✌😁 )
